Monteagle has two town parks: Harton Park, on the site of the old Monteagle Hotel; Hannah Pickett Park with a pavilion, children’s playground and one plus mile walking path. We are also located in the center of the Mountain Goat Trail, which, when finished, will connect Cowan with Palmer – almost 40 miles. Currently there are 12 miles for hiking and biking. Baseball teams and events are shared with Tracy City, a short six miles down the road. Practices and games are played in both towns.

The Monteagle Community Center is a great place to start. Our volunteer leaders organize activities and beautification efforts to make this community space vibrant.
